COSOC Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmentalorganization. It is registered in the District Administration Office Dhading 2003 and affiliated to Social Welfare Council. COSOC Nepal was formed by a group of professionals from various disciplines who wanted integrate research with social action for sustainable development.Its constant endeavor has been to conduct action oriented, participatory condition of poor, disadvantage. Currently COSOC Nepal has been implementing WASH, Health and Livelihood program in the district.
COSOC Nepal seeks the following staff for Health Projectfunded by World Vision International Nepal for Dhading district.
Social Mobilizer- 4
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of Health program in a manner that promotes gender equality, democratic decision-making and inclusion.
- Identify target communities and mobilize community groups.
- Assist in raising awareness on emergency preparedness.
- Spread awareness, facilitate communities and conduct meetings with community members including children, parents and teachers.
- Liaise and work with community groups and projects to ensure accountability and best use of project resources.
- Report sector progress on a monthly basis
Requirements:
CMA or ANM or above, 2 years’ experience in health project particularly in communities.
