International Medical Corps (IMC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill in position of 30 enumerators (10 survey team leaders and 20 measurers) for an upcoming nutrition and Mortality survey in Nepal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify the eligible children for the survey
- Take anthropometric measures ( weight, height, MUAC, check oedema)
- Daily check of anthropometric materials ( scales, Height board, MUAC tapes)
- Fill in survey questionnaire and record the measurements taken.
- Monitor quality of anthropometrics measurements
- Ensure that all cases of acute malnutrition that are identified during the survey are referred to appropriate facility for treatment
- Ensure quality of data collected by the team and report any issue to the survey supervisor.
- Ensure all data are recorded correctly and delivering this to the survey supervisor
MINIMUM EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION:
- Candidates must be able to communicate in English and Nepali and preferably with:
- Experience taking anthropometric measurements (weight, height and MUAC) of children under 5 years of age (preferable).
- Experience in anthropometric surveys (preferable).
- Experience performing interviews and recording responses (preferable).
- Being physically capable to walk long distances during data collection.
- Displays leadership qualities.
- Being able to work in a team environment
