AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is an international NGO, working in Nepal since 2008 in the field of HIV/AIDS treatment and care. AHF is looking for dynamic and energetic Nepali citizens to fulfill the following positions:
Counselor – 1 position (Kailali)
Responsible for comprehensive care and counseling to clients. Shall collaborate with other health care professionals and stakeholders; provide counseling on HIV testing, pre-treatment and treatment adherence; maintain record of clients; conduct training; coordinate technical working group meetings; and provide reports to supervisor as per requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
- Proficiency Certificate in General Medicine (Health Assistant) or Nursing (Staff Nurse) from recognized institution with 2 years of relevant experience in counseling and HIV management
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and E-mail
- Proficiency in data management including basic knowledge on government HIV recording and reporting tools
- Be able to work to deadlines and cope with a large number of tasks at one time
